Hi everyone. My name is Victoriya Rayne. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, but the stories that have really spoken to me are those with dark, forbidden themes. And romance. LOTS of romance.
Thus, I bring you The House of Honey and Venom: a supernatural romance novel about a literature major turned incubus. Here’s my elevator pitch for you:
After being turned into an incubus by a mysterious and powerful stranger, Kelsin grapples with his need to feed off of others for survival. This is a steamy romance about bodily autonomy, the importance of consent, and the freedom of two demons who become unexpected lovers.
Hopefully, you have questions. First of all, you may ask yourself, what exactly is steamy romance? In this case, it’s a full-sized novel (about 100K words) with an overarching plot and many characters with their own motivations. However, there is a boat load of sex in between. Because why not, right?
Jokes aside, sex is integral to the story, and not just because Kelsin is an incubus. It means something different to him, to the other incubi, to his devil master, and especially to the love interest, Emory. Emory has a very poor relationship with intimacy when the story begins, and that throws a huge wrench in things, considering Kelsin needs to feed on intimacy, lest he be wracked by the pain of his never-ending hunger.

Here are the boys, Emory (top left) and Kelsin (bottom right), in their full demonic grandeur.
Due to the story’s explicit nature, it is strictly for readers who are 18+. My current plan is to publish through IngramSpark, which will allow the book to be available through all major retailers (content guidelines permitting).
Stay tuned for more information. I look forward to sharing details about Kelsin and Emory, excerpts from the story, artwork, and more!
